(Sigh) Seriously?!!

I was running late this morning.

So I asked the oldest child to wake the youngest.  The next thing I know, I hear shouting.  Apparently the way that he chose to wake his brother was to bounce a large rubber ball on his face.  Really?!!  Raising boys has confirmed my belief that boys are just plain stupid until they are in their 20s.

To commemorate the "Morning of the Bounce" I decided to ink up my runner (get it, because I was "running" late?!!)  Hah!  Anyway, this image is "Don't Sweat It" from Art Impressions.

I'm using the sketch over on the Your Next Stamp blog.  My image is a bit too big to place the sentiment on the side, so I moved it down.  Still works.

SSW2-99 Fresh Brewed Designs

Happy Wednesday!

Time for another sketch challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.  This week we are sponsored by Heather from Fresh Brewed Designs.  Heather is offering up three free digis to our winner.  Heather has some super cute digis on her site.  I'm using "Bob" on my card.  Isn't he hilarious?

I made my card for the love of my life.  The inside of my card says, "Just kidding ... there are sharks in there"  He will love it since he knows that my biggest fears are sharks and spiders ... and maybe snakes.

Hope to see you join in the fun.

Gerda Steiner: September

Happy Fall!!

Get it, it's Autumn and this little piggy is falling?!!  OK, I thought it was hilarious.  So funny that I actually put that inside the card.  I'm sure that whichever family member gets this will groan at my silly pun!

Using the progressive image from Gerda Steiner.  Since I'm making a card with her darling When Pig's Fly image, I will get next month's image for free.  Yippee!

I'm also using Try Stampin' On Tuesday's sketch.  It's a fun one.

TMS 370: Booos!!

Making my first Halloween card of the season.

I'm ignoring all the cleaning projects that I need to get done today (I need to bake too), and instead I'm coloring.  I wanted to play with my newest AI stamp: Old Bat.  Isn't she a riot?!!

I'm using the sketch over on the Tuesday Morning Sketches site.  It's a fun one too.

DP: Pile it On!!

 Happy Sunday!!

Today is my BIL's birthday: Happy Birthday Steve!  And in addition to THAT amazing thing, it's also a day where Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the Pile It On blog.  Their theme this week is Autumn/Fall.

I tried to keep my card CAS so that Laurie's cute image would really shine.  I'm using Nut Costume Ants.  Aren't they silly?  Why don't you join in the fun this week?

SS430: Ugly Sweaters

Happy Saturday, sketch fans!

It's time for another challenge over on the Saturday Sketch blog.  We have a new sketch for you and the return of The Happy Print Club for our sponsor.  The prize for this week's winner is a membership to The Happy Print Club.

This week I used Art Impressions' Ugly Sweater for my card.  I'm trying to finish my necessary 75 cards before it gets ugly close to Christmas and I panic.  It definitely puts a damper getting my Christmas Spirit on when I don't have my cards finished.  Yikes!

Stop on by the blog, and join in the crafting fun this week!

DP: Aud Sentiments

Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the new challenge over on the Aud Sentiments blog.  Their challenge is to create and link a card for Fall.  The extra challenge is that it MUST have a sentiment on the front.

Today I'm using the set: Bitty Bat and Pumpkin   Laurie's images come in the pre-printed version as well as the line art.  Since I just needed to bang out a quick card, I used the pre-colored image.  Super fast AND cute!

We hope you will join in the fun this week.

SSW2-98 Dreaming

I am dreaming of finding canned pumpkin.  There is NONE to be found in this area of the country.  I have two solitary cans (which I am hoarding until I find more) so there will be no more Cinnamon Pumpkin muffins for breakfast for a while.  Sad

But in better news, we have a new sketch and the return of favored sponsor over on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 blog. We have Tammy and A Day For Daisies as our sponsor.  Yay.

I'm using the image: Best Friends for my card.  I loved the two girls, sitting in a chair, reading.  So of course, I had to color it like it was my best friend and I at that age.  Such a sweet image.

There is a $12 prize for winning this week.  We hope you'll stop in to join us this week.

CCEE1636: Joggers

Hanging out with my kiddos while they complete homework; I'm working on MY homework.  I'm completing the ten kajillion birthday cards that I need for this month.  I'm actually down to my last three.

I used the sketch from the Paper Play Sketches blog.  It worked for this manly card I made for my BIL.  I'm using my Art Impression Grumpy Jogger images.  This one looks EXACTLY like me while I run!!

I also wanted to join in the WORD challenge over on the CCEE blog.  They want us to create something to represent each letter in WORD.  So mine are:

W  words on the blue paper and also my sentiment
O  Old (or the more PC term: generationally challenged person)
 R  Red running shoes
  Designer Paper

I'm also joining in the anything goes challenges over on Aud Sentiments and the 613 Avenue Create.

"Hello" Wendy

I popped awake early this morning (blah) and couldn't go back to sleep.  I banged out this card for my bestie.  She needs a bit of love after last week.  Pretty sure that this one will go better for both of us (pretty sure it can't be worse!)

Using the sketch over on the Catch The Bug Challenge Blog.  I'm also using the Social Butterfly theme on the Dragonfly Journeys blog.

SS428: Candy Candy CANDY!!

Good Morning Saturday Sketch Fans

It's another Saturday and that means it's time for a new sketch over on the Sketch Saturday blog.  This week we have Tammy from A Day For Daisies as our sponsor.  Tammy is providing our winner a voucher for $12 to use in her shop.

I'm using one of my older ADFD images: Candy Elf C for my card.  It's such a cutie, and makes for a quick and easy Christmas card.

Please check out the rest of the DT's creations and give them some love.

DP: Sending Smiles

Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the new challenge over on the Send a Smile 4 Kids site.  Their challenge is to create and link a card appropriate for a child.  Sounds easy, right?!!

I'm using Laurie's Balloon Ants on my card.  I love these ants; they are so silly.  If you've never visited her store, I suggest a visit. There are plenty of fun "bugs" to admire and grab.

I'm using the sketch from Paper Play Sketches

DP: Have a "Sweet" Day!

Happy September.

This is my month of MANY birthdays.  Isn't it weird how one month can just have a billion birthdays.  I will be sending out 13 birthday cards this month.  Holy Moly that's a lotta cake!!

In addition, it is also the first of the month.  That means it's time for Doodle Pantry's monthly Ants in My Pantry Digital Challenge.  It is always an anything goes challenge. The only requirement is to use a digital image.

I'm using one of Doodle Pantry's ant sets.  I love these little cuties.  This one is called Strawberry Ants.

Won't you join in the fun?
