I know. I can imagine that you are saying that I need to stop making and posting cards. I really do.
But did you ever find yourself getting distracted by everything? This is me today. I'm SUPPOSED to be cleaning the house in anticipation of my company's visit buuuut, I somehow ended up in my art studio, crafting.
I came down to put nerf gun bullets in their container down here (which frankly, is it just me or do these suckers multiply overnight?!! I find them in the weirdest places) anyway, long story short, I haven't gone back to the vacuum cleaner yet!
I wanted to try out the sketch over on the Bugaboo blog and use Morning Margaret. I rotated the sketch and left off the brads 'cause my card was already pretty busy. I love how this card came out
Happy Birthday to the eldest boy in the house. I'm happy that the "cradle-robber" comments can stop since we are the same age again.
I'm using a Doodle Pantry image for my card. THIS particular one is no longer available, Laurie has replaced it with the much cuter Happy Birdie 2 which is currently free!! The new image is nearly the same except that it's a mirror image (and there are sentiments included). Run over and snag it.
Atlantic Heart Sketch Challenge. It was cute and fit the image.

It's Wednesday and that means it's time for another challenge over on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 blog. This week we are sponsored by Fresh Brewed Designs. Heather is offering her usual great prize of a three free digi-images from her shop.
Frosty Hugs and Kisses - No Frame for my card. This image comes with TWO images, one with a frame and one without.
I used quite a bit of glitter on these two cuties. You can't see it in the photo, but, in real life, they shimmer like vampires outside in the sun!!
Come join in the fun!

Thirteen years ago I became a mom for the first time (I'm going to admit to a few weepy tears this morning!) Phew, what a wild ride it's been, but I wouldn't change my life for anything.
We went to Zootopia to celebrate. OK, I made him go. If it had been left up to him, we would have celebrated the day sleeping til' noon, eating cheese whiz (blah, is that even food?), and playing Playstation all day.
When we left the theater, he said, "That was surprisingly good." So there you have it, Zootopia is surprisingly good.
From The Heart blog. I rotated the sketch to fit the image. I used Doggone Birthday because I thought the birthday boy might like it.

I needed a quick thank you card to send my aunt and uncle. Not only did they feed my crew fabulous meals, but my uncle took my two wild indian boys out to the lake to fish! This gave my aunt and I time to antique and spend time together. ((Sigh)) Heaven!!
The good news is that the youngest did NOT hook anyone's face like last time (OUCH!) but the bad news is that he DID fall into the lake. Uncle Don is sooo patient with him!! Thanks for a great time!
Tuesday Morning Sketches site and one of the maze states from the Doodle Pantry site. So far Laurie has mazes made for Texas, Minnesota, Iowa, and Missouri. I'm hoping to get an Arizona maze soon. They are super fun.

Good morning sketch fans!
It's Saturday so that means it's time for a new sketch over on the Sketch Saturday blog. We have a fun new sketch as well as a great prize from our sponsor...Bunny Zoe's Crafts. She is offering our winner the prize of a £10 gift certificate.
The sketch is fun, and one that I'm sure to use again. I'm using the image from my monthly image challenge. It's Birdie Brown's You're Super
Come join the fun!

I needed another birthday card. There are so many important March birthdays for me: Hubby, Son, Great Nephew, and many friends. I used this cutie from Gerda Steiner. It's the monthly challenge image: Carrot Bunny. I'll get the next month's image for free since I used it.
I'm off to get another cup of coffee. This time change business just knocks me out. I'm not gonna lie, I'm not a fan of it. I don't know my exhaustion is real or simply because I grew up in Arizona without it and I'm having trouble getting used to it.
Have a great Wednesday friends.
Oh, before I forget, I'm submitting my card to Jeannie's "Go Green" challenge over on her blog.
Twelve hours (and one more parent-teacher conference) 'til Spring Break starts (not that I'm counting!!) Yippee. Nine days of sleeping in. I can't wait!
Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. We have Sami Stamps as our sponsor this fortnight. She's offering a $12 prize to our winner. Nice!
This week I am using her Lovely Native Fairy for my card. We hope you will join in the fun.

I have NOT had the best day today.
While rushing out the door this morning, I thought that I would save time and hit two buttons at one time: the garage door and the automated open for the SUV's back. It didn't occur to me that Explorer's door might open faster and get caught in the garage door ... making a horrible metallic screeching sound and grinding EVERYTHING to a halt ... halfway up. Yikes.
After the humiliating call to the hubby telling him that I "broke the house," we DID get everything separated again. The Ford has a bit of a scratch but the garage door has a serious dent. That bad boy will cost us some money to fix!! ((Sigh))
From the Heart Progressive Challenge image. Here she is (and yes, you can tell she's a she because of her pink glittery collar): Digging Dog. Remember, if you play along each month, you will get the next image emailed to you for free!
Oh, I'm using the FTH sketch too. It was cute.

We've got some fun going on over on the Ants In My Pants blog. Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the challenge over on the Incy Wincy Designs. This week, in honor of St. Patty's Day, they are asking us to show them our "green." I'm using the set Pickle Ants for my card. It makes a cute thank you card.
We hope you join in the fun.

Morning All!! It's another Saturday.
Happy March btw! This year is already FLYING by! Can you believe that it's almost Easter?
We have a new challenge over on the Sketch Saturday blog. Our sponsor is Kenny K. and he is offering up 3 digi images to our winner.
Guitar Rocker this week for my card. My sentiment is from the Inkadinkado set: Rock Star; it makes for the perfect boy card. Kinda great since I have several "boy" birthdays this month.
I can’t wait to see what you come up with using this sketch! Oh, and don’t forget to stop by the Sketch Saturday Facebook Page and give us a like!

I'm feeling a little frustrated with the humans in my house. One 'suddenly' needed a baby card and gift for a co-worker. How do you suddenly need a baby gift? I know for a fact that it takes 40 weeks to grow one ... so I'm pretty sure he had AT LEAST 20 weeks to let me know.
The youngest human 'forgot' to tell us that his Science Project was due on Friday. Yes, two days away from today. Apparently dates got shifted to accommodate other activities. We didn't find out until we got a missing assignment e-mail from his teacher. Oops. So on Monday we built a prototype, Tuesday we tested and refined our design. Today we're designing his board. Tomorrow's activities include writing and practicing his speech. Yay. What a fun week we're having!!
I'm using the sketch over on the Catch The Bug site. Totally cute.

This week over on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 challenge we have a new sketch and the return of
Laurie Wilson from Doodle Pantry as our sponsor.
I'm using one of her older sets. It's Harold Duck (Psst: he's currently in her "freebie" link ... run and grab him!) I love ducks for some reason and Laurie has a bunch in her shop.
There is a $10 prize for winning this week. We hope you'll stop in to join us this week.

It's the first day of March and that means it's time for the monthly Ants in my Pantry Digital Challenge over on the Doodle PantryBlog. It's an anything goes challenge this month, provided you use a digital image.
I decided to use the Doodle Pantry set: Dizzy Dachshund. I'm not such a fan of the small dogs (I've always held the belief that any dog less than 40 lbs. is kinda pointless) I know ... I know, there are many people who love those little dogs ... sorry. I will admit that this little guy IS kinda cute ... you know, in a small dog sort of way!
Anyway, I sure hope you can join in the fun of the Ants in my Pantry Digital Challenge #15 over on the Doodle Pantry Blog.
